Flexible Attendance
Immediately before joining John Stark and Crickmay, one of our Architects undertook this office refurbishment project. Driven by an agenda for enabling flexibility of working hours, three floors of cellular offices were converted into open plan areas for ‘hot-desking,’ with a ratio of 7 desks to every 10 staff. The lower ground floor (pictured) was then converted from office use to a flexible space to be used for meetings, as a workspace and as a rest area. Areas with a variety of ambience were created within the space to cater for varying levels of intimacy and formality.
