Alterations & Reorganisation

A space was created at the west end of the church for meeting prior to services, for tea and coffee after services and as an area for meetings etc. It was designed so as to be welcoming, light and durable, but still to have dignity befitting the church. As part of the re-ordering, the font was relocated to be centred on the North/South axis of the South entrance and the East/West axis of the church. The font is now conspicuous upon entering the church and there is sufficient space around it to enable baptisms to be viewed by large numbers.
