Extensions & Access Projects
Extensions are often required in order to accommodate either a growing congregation, a change in style of worship, or a desire to accommodate new functions.
Many Churches are also reviewing the accessibility of their buildings in response to the Disability Discrimination Act. We are able to undertake Access Audits, and recommend works. Historic Churches require particularly sensitive treatment, as any works undertaken must be sympathetic to the architecture of the existing building. The image shown, is of Bradpole Church, where an extension to the rear of the Church was added with a level threshold and an Accessible WC.
